At the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of Pudhari Newspaper in Kolhapur, spoke about the important role of the media in a democracy. I believe that criticism is very important in a democracy. Infact, I feel every decision must be criticised. Only then will mistakes be prevented and the truth will be brought out properly. Unfortunately, these days allegations are replacing criticism. The need of the hour remains healthy criticism.
Highlighted the role played by the media during the freedom struggle. I congratulated the Pudhari family on their Platinum Jubilee and conveyed my best wishes to them.
