The PM, Shri Narendra Modi, today paid a surprise visit to the Mandir Marg near police station in New Delhi.
As he was on the way to Valmiki Basti, he requested the official motorcade to be stopped at Mandir Marg Police Station. Noting the dirt at the venue, the PM himself picked up a broom to clean dirt.
Police officials rushed to the PM after noticing him. The PM later exhorted police officials to maintain cleanliness, before proceeding to Valmiki Basti.
